Overview of Activity
In our daily lives, we mix with people from all walks of life. Many of these individuals share the same values and beliefs as us, whereas others share different values and beliefs.

Our gender is one of the most important characteristics of our lives. It can vary over time, and can vary from society to society. The World Health Organisation refers to gender identify as a person’s deeply felt, internal and individual experience of gender, which may or may not correspond to the person’s physiology or designated sex at birth.

In this exercise, you will explore the meaning of gender, and look at different genders which people can use to express their own gender identities, and self-identify the most appropriate gender which fits your beliefs, feelings, and values.
